Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart flattered by Comedians Jack Dee and Ricky Gervais

British comedians Jack Dee and Ricky Gervais spoke on their ‘Grumpy Old Bastards’ TV show about what they think about Twilight.
Gervais had this to say “It’s brilliant!”
“Especially the acting. You can tell those two studied at the Lee Strasberg School Of Method acting. There’s something DeNiro-esque about Pattinson’s performances, and Kristen Stewart convinces just like Judy Garland in The Wizard Of Oz. When people ask me where the next generation of Brandos, Hoffmans, Pacinos are, I tell them to look no further than Pattinson and Stewart. I was so moved watching their performances, that I actually shed a tear.”
“I can only concur with what Ricky just said,” Jack Dee added. “I was so moved that my anus went into contractions. People complain that there’s not enough proper vampiring going on these days, but Pattinson and Stewart have it nailed. Robert is really scary in the movie, a bit like the Mike Tyson of old with fangs – although I hope he doesn’t bite Kristen’s ear off. And Kristen exudes an aura of potential illegal sexual activity. On the grounds that she looks about twelve years old. I bet Gary Glitter wears the DVD’s of these movies out.”
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were reportedly flattered by the tribute given to them by two of Britain’s comedy finest.

The Fight Over Breaking Dawn

The "Twilight"- ensemble and the producers are not getting along about the making of the fourth movie in the success franchise. Will Breaking Dawn ever get to the screen?

New Moon is still going strong at the cinemas- it earned almost 2 billion only during the first three weeks. but the producers are already turning their attention to the fourth book in the "Twilight"- saga, Breking Dawn (or as long as we both shall breathe as it is called in swedish). Unfortunately there is a big share of obstacles on the way for it to be put in to a movie (the filming of the third movie in the saga, Eclipse, ended in October and the movie's premiere is June 30th). Here we reveal what's at stake for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the rest of the crew:

Directed Requirements

While production is still looking for a director to Breaking Dawn the stars of the movie are determined that they want the director from New Moon, Chris Weitz, to get the honour
"Rob, Taylor and Kristen sat down and wrote a letter trying to get Chris back", a source reveals. "I had such a great experiense with Chris. He was passionate, caring and compassionate", says Kristen.

All are compatible replacement

Another Movie means another risk of being fired from the cast- and no one goes safe. Taylor had to fight for his part in New Moon, and Rachelle Lefevre got replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard (see picture) in Eclipse.

"The cast members are not so irreplaceable that they want to believe", a source confirms to "Life & Style". And obviously that doesn't feel good for the young actors. Everytime a co-star gets sacked it raises the concern in the camp. "The entire cast is really close", Taylor explains. "It was really sad when Rachelle had to go."

Controversial scenes

Spoileralert: the ones that make it will have alot of material to work with from Stephenie Meyers fourth book. Unlike the first three lame books, Breaking Dawn contains passionate kissing sequences, wild sexgames and a scary birth.
Kristen who plays a prostitute in the upcoming movie "Welcome to the Rileys", and Rob who had a piquant gay Scene in "Little Ashes", are ready for the challenge. But the Studio are detemined to keep it to a PG-13 for the younger fans of Twilight. "Just as in the other movies it will be incredibly sexy without the sex", the source insists. "These movies are really for the fans, so they don't want to depart from the books to much. But the chemistry betwen Rob & Kristen is so obvious that it expresses sufficient without unnecessary graphic moves."

Three Movies?

It can be very difficult to get them to accept a dried-out version of the book, but the hardest part will be to renegotiate each stars contract. In the beginning the cast signed up for three movies (Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse), so it can be very coaxed to get the actors to agree on a deal for Breaking Dawn. "This is the golden Egg for Summit Entertainment, and the company is going to milk out as much as possible from it". the source noted. "It wouldn't come as a surprise if the studio divides the 754 page thick book in to three movies to get as much as possible from them".
If that would happen, Taylor and the rest of the cast can expect BIG paychecks. "Everyone wants a piece of the cookie", the source says. "They can see how much money New Moon brings in and want their fair share, which is probably one of the reason for why the movie is on hold. The Studio wants to keep the wages in check, but it won't be easy."

Indecisive Vampires

The first three movies was filmed in the space of 20 months, but this time it will take much more time. but the cast isprobably happy for the break, since many in the cast worries about being placed in a certain movie box. Therefore they're now eagerly putting up other projects- which can cause big conflicts in the schedule. Kristen has the movies K-11 and "An American Girl" on the go, while Taylor has signed up for the action series "Max Steel". And Rob? In February he will begin to filming "Bel Ami" in Budapest and for the next summer he's going to do a western movie called "Unbound Capitves", in New Mexico. "It is two completely different movies", he says. "I don't want to be a vampire for the rest of my life".

Thanks to the sucess of New Moon the stars Taylor, Kristen and Robert has had much more to say about things which does not bode well before Breaking Dawn since Rob isn't fond of how the series has been developed. "I've seen the movies twice and I wasn't exactly delighted", he says.

Vampire Battle! Ethan Hawke Vs. Robert Pattinson

Vampires are all the rage these days, but who’s got the best bite? OK! chatted with Ethan Hawke and the producers and directors of Daybreakers at the premiere last night, and learned that when it comes to bloodusckers, they think they they’re on top — even against Twilight’s great and powerful Robert Pattinson!

Since Robert’s Edward Cullen slays his Bella only metaphorically, with love, and Ethan’s character is more of bite’em and leave’em type, Daybreakers producers Sean Furst and Bryan Furst tell OK! Ethan is clearly more of a lady-killer.

“I think Ethan’s body count is a definitely probably a lot higher,” Bryan said.

Meanwhile, directors Peter Speirig and Michael Speirig have confidence in Ethan’s skills as a brawler, even over Rob’s lightning-quick moves and deadly bite.

“That’s a pretty easy answer,” Peter told OK! “I think Ethan could do it with two hands behind his back and blindfolded. This is a film about the reality of vampirism and not the softer, gentler version. Vampires are nasty. They’re dark, they’re scary, and that’s what our vampires are.”

But, Rob does have his youth as Ethan pointed out when asked how he and R-Pattz compare on the screen.

“Oh, I have no idea,” Ethan told OK! “I could be his father.”

'New Moon' Stars Taylor Lautner, Kellan Lutz Confirmed For People's Choice Awards

"New Moon" has certainly been a fan favorite since its release in November, so it comes as no surprise that the film's stars Taylor Lautner and Kellan Lutz will attend the People's Choice Awards on January 6. According to CBS, the show will air live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, with Queen Latifah hosting and performing at the show.
Lutz will join Lautner, who is up for Favorite Breakout Movie Actor. "Twilight" snagged nods for Favorite Movie and On-Screen Team for Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Stewart and Pattinson are also nominated in the Favorite Movie Actress and Actor categories. It has yet to be confirmed if Pattinson and Stewart will appear on the show.
Mary J. Blige will perform at the show, with nominees like Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds and Carrie Underwood set to attend, as well as "American Idol" judge Ellen DeGeneres, "The Office" star Steve Carell and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger. Other fan favorites such as Miley Cyrus and the casts of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and "True Blood" are also up for awards. No word yet on if any of them will attend the show when it goes live next month.
"We have jam packed this show with epic performances, surprises and huge show moments that will be sure to keep the audience glued to their seats," executive producer Mark Burnett said. "The stars are coming out in droves to thank the millions of fans who showed their love and support by voting. And with exclusive sneak peeks of some of the best upcoming movies and television along with energetic music performances, it's truly going to be a night to remember — and a great way to jump start 2010."
The People's Choice Awards air on CBS on January 6 at 9 p.m.

Gossip Cop confirms Christina Ricci for "Bel Ami"

Usually it’s role rumors about Robert Pattinson that draw big attention, but today the buzz is all about a possible future co-star.

An avalanche of outlets picked up a Production Weekly item that reported Christina Ricci will join Pattinson in the upcoming “Bel Ami.” The speculation has Ricci playing a character named Clotilde in the tale of Georges Duroy (Pattinson) and his corrupt rise to power in Paris.

A lot of people asked Gossip Cop whether the casting rumor was true.

We can confirm that it is.
