Kellan postpones Peoria Rivermen Appearance

The Peoria Rivermen were notified Friday night that “Twilight” movie actor Kellan Lutz has withdrawn from his appearance with the AHL team, scheduled for Saturday’s game at Carver Arena.


Lutz will appear at a Rivermen game later this season. In his place, the team has booked Chaske Spencer, who plays the role of Sam in the upcoming “Twilight” sequel, “New Moon,” which opens in theaters Nov. 20.

Spencer, meanwhile, will appear in Lutz’s place on Saturday, and sign autographs from 6-9 p.m. in Carver Arena.
