Just a tiny bit of her great composed Post:

[...] To people on twitter, I cannot take your incessant babbling. I believe what I hear spoken from the holy voice of seduction. Please do not try and twist his words or insinuate that he is liar. All I care about is that he is healthy, safe, and happy. Whatever brings me photos of the smile from heaven is ok by me. I will not allow your pessimism to ruin the beautiful love in my heart for this beautiful man. [...]

So go onto her Blog and write her a note! Don't be afraid to do that, cause she wasn't, too!!

Kevin & Bean Morning Show Interview with Kellan!

"Where is Edward Cullen?" posted this interview with Kellan!

Yesterday I mentioned that New Moon has taken over 106.7 KROQ this week and this morning the Kevin & Bean morning show conducted a telephone interview with Kellan Lutz, who plays Emmett Cullen in the Twilight Saga films.  Below you can read our transcription of the interview, or if you’d prefer you can listen to our KROQ Interview with Kellan Lutz MP3.
I can never tell the difference between the voices of Kevin and Bean so I simply labeled them as K&B unless it says their names specifically. ‘K’ Represents Kellan, and Lisa is one of the co-hosts on the Kevin and Bean morning show that chimes in during the interview on occasion.
K&B: Hey Kellan, how are you?
K: I’m doing fabulous, how are you guys?
K&B: I know you probably have been very excited for a long time about the second movie finally coming out. It must be so weird for you guys to film a movie and just kinda have to sit on it waiting for the fans to get a chance to see it.
K:  Well, it’s not really too weird because we just finished actually the third movie, Eclipse. So it’s kinda been Twilight for a while now and now that New Moon’s coming out, so it’s like Eclipse is right around the corner.  So we start all our press…tomorrow, and we have a great event tomorrow at Hollywood & Highland and it’s gonna be fun.
K&B: And you’re gonna be there?
K: Yeah, oh yeah. I loved last year. Last year Paramore played and we got to meet so many fans from Hot Topic and it was a fun event. I had my family come in to town, who, they live in Valencia so they came down.  My little brother and sister had a great time and I hope they do it again this year.
K&B: I’m dying to know, when a movie catches fire like Twilight did, and of course people expected the movie franchise to be successful because the books were so well loved, so many fans were already, “hey I’m gonna go see that movie”, but even you guys had to be surprised at how big the first movie was right?
K: We were, we were. I mean for myself, I, I had no idea it was even a book series. So getting involved with it I loved my character, loved the script I thought it was beautiful and just the whole relationship between Bella and Edward and then throw in Jacob Black in there.  It’s a, you know, that’s what’s great about Eclipse also, you know, that’s where the love triangle comes. In New Moon it’s all about the wolves, it’s all about the wolf pack, and you know, it’s a guy movie, it’s more of an action movie. So where the girls loved all the romance in the first one, this one is more guy friendly.
K&B: Alright. Now every single series, or movie, or book about vampires has to figure out what lore they’re gonna go with.  For vampires, you know, sometimes the sun melts your skin, the cross, the holy water, all that kind of stuff.  How exactly did the author of these books, if she’s the one who came up with it, decide that the vampire’s skin when it is subjected to sunlight will turn into diamonds?
Lisa: Well it doesn’t turn in to diamonds.
K&B: It turns in to diamonds!
Lisa: It just sparkles.
K&B: Your skin is diamonds!
K: Is that Lisa May?
K&B: Yes
K: I love you!
K&B: But wait, where did that come from?!
Lisa: Please fix these stupid boys.
K&B: His skin turns to diamonds. I’ve never seen that before.
Lisa: That is not true.
K: You know what, nor have I and I think it’s a great twist on the vampire image in a way. And I was kinda down when I heard that we weren’t gonna have fangs.  I was going through hair and makeup, which takes a while when you’re tan and you live from L.A.
K&B: Well when you’re as good looking as you are, right, they’ve gotta ugly you up. That’s gotta be hard on you Kellan.
K: Well we are supposed to be beautiful. That’s one of the traits of becoming a vampire, everything gets, you know..
Lisa: Perfect
K: Times ten as far as beauty, but you know what I was kinda bummed when we didn’t have fangs, but still I love how human we are portrayed in a way as vampires trying to live in the regular human society.  It’s a nice twist on things.
K&B: Now I saw the first movie, I didn’t read any of the books. Do you get the people who read the books and then follow you around and go, “How come this didn’t happen? Remember in chapter 2?” and compare it?
K: You know, what it’s a blessing to have the books as homework and research to work with. And then having Stephenie come to the set and really pick her brain.
K&B: But, don’t you have to change a certain amount of things to make a book into a movie?
Lisa: Yeah you can never put it all in, right?
K: No definitely not. The books are way longer, and it’s tough to, and that’s one of the talents that Melissa has, who wrote the screenplays, of transferring a beautiful book into a beautiful screenplay.  And she did that and captured it amazingly in all of the movies that we’ve shot so far.  It’s a tough thing, you have to have all the key elements in there, but yet, you know, make it roughly around 90 minutes so the audience doesn’t fall asleep if it’s too long, or you know, lose interest. So, it’s amazing. The first one it was great. I saw New Moon already, loved it, Chris Weitz did an amazing job and I think everyone’s gonna love it.
K&B: Did I mention that Robert Pattinson’s character, his skin turns into diamonds when he’s in the sun?
Lisa: You have got to get over that.
K: You love that, you love that.
K&B: Last question for you Kellan. With every movie that comes out, you guys become more well known and end up on more tabloids and more entertainment TV shows.  Has it been a pain in the ass, or has it been fairly manageable for you so far?
K: Not at all, I think it’s an actors dream to be allowed and be able to go on talk shows, and do interviews, and share what their passion is.  You know, as far as being an actor and myself falling in to this amazing industry. You know I find it a blessing and very lucky and it’s great to be able to share about yourself as a person in these interviews. So you talk a lot about the movies, and you know then have the ability to share who you are so the fans get a little inside scoop on who you are, not just the character I play, Emmett Cullen, but they learn who Kellan Lutz is inside and out.
Kevin: Twilight Saga New Moon comes out two weeks from tomorrow, November 20th, how does it end I haven’t read the book?
K: Ooooh I cannot share that.
Kevin: How does it end?!
Lisa: First of all it doesn’t end; it’s only the second in the series.
K: Why haven’t you read the books? They’re great books.
Kevin: I’m not a big reader.
K: Nor am I, I have a Kindle I read everything on.  It’s so easy.
Kevin: I’ve started 25,000 books I think I’ve finished 2.
K: That’s a good amount.
Bean: Yeah. Kellan when you’re doing a movie of a book where a guy looks at goats and they fall down dead that’s when Kevin’s going to read your book.

Top Five Best Things About New Moon

Because The Twilight Saga: New Moon is probably the most highly anticipated movie of the year, fervent fans – whether on Team Edward or Team Jacob – are practically salivating at the prospect of seeing their favorite heartthrobs on the big screen once the movie opens Nov. 20.

And since PEOPLE has gotten an early look at the film, now we can report on the top five aspects to New Moon that fans can eagerly anticipate. (Warning: Spoiler Alert!

Jacob Black's Body: Photos of Taylor Lautner's amazing transformation from a scrawny kid to a rippling teen werewolf already have been making the rounds for months. But the first time Lautner rips off his T-shirt to reveal his muscled chest onscreen, the sight is still gasp-worthy. In fact, Lautner sizzles and smolders throughout New Moon as he walks the line between friendship and romance with Bella (Kristen Stewart). Though Bella's heart belongs to Edward (Robert Pattinson), Launter may steal Pattinson's heartthrob status right out from under his pale nose.

Bella and Edward's Reunion: When Edward comes to the (incorrect) conclusion that his love, Bella, is dead, he decides there is no choice but to commit vampire suicide. Of course, the only person who can save him is Bella. When she launches herself through a crowd and across a fountain in an Italian square to push Edward out of harm's way, the sparks that fly between the soul-mates are like fireworks.

The Wolf Pack: The actors who play Jacob Black's gang of strapping pals provide the perfect mix of teen tension and ferocious loyalty that exist between the group of guys who realize that one and all are actually werewolves. They snarl and yelp, tease and torment each other, and of course, fight together just like Twilight Saga author Stephanie Meyer describes in her series.

Dakota Fanning: She plays the pint-sized vamp, Jane, who wields a daunting power – simply by concentrating she can cause her victims to convulse in excruciating pain. She's not in the movie for very long, but when she focuses those red eyes on her targets and softly whispers, "Pain," everyone will squirm.

The Sense of Humor: While the Twilight series is based overwrought teenage angst, director Chris Weitz lightens the mood with some well-placed humor. Bella's human school friends provide comic relief. When one of them has to leave a horror movie because he's ill, Launter's character laughs and says, "What a marshmallow." And when a member of the wolf pack accidentally changes from human to werewolf right in front of Bella, another member quips, "Well, I guess the wolf is out of the bag."

Extension from Nylon Mag!

As we already reported, Kellan and Nikki Reed got interviewed by Nylon Magazine. Now MTV brought the full interview:

The holy Trinity of "Twilight" (Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner) aren't the only "New Moon" stars heating up magazine pages this month. The sequel's second couple, Rosalie Hale and Emmett Cullen (also known as Nikki Reed and Kellan Lutz), posed for some fiercely fashionable shots in Nylon, dishing to the magazine about the Saga's unexpected success, how "Twilight" has changed their lives (think: disguises!) and cast switcheroos.

"We were just making a little independent film in Portland," Nikki said of the movie that changed her life. “I don’t know what happened. We’ve lived this entire year in shock.” But along with the Saga's staggering success has come constant fan and paparazzi attention, something Kellan goes to great lengths to avoid.

“I used to love going to local high school football games near my house,” he told the mag. “And I can’t really go there anymore, without being wise.” And by wise he means, in disguise! Though he wouldn't divulge his go-to get-up to Nylon (for obvious reasons) he did describe a now-failed costume. "I wanted to walk around Comic-Con this year, so I dressed kinda homeless. But someone recognized me and posted it online. I was like, ‘Thanks. Now I can’t wear that again.’”
Another consequence of the franchise' popularity were some tough casting choices, including whether to keep Taylor in his break-out role as Bella's bud Jacob Black. Both Nikki and Kellan couldn't help but gush about the transformation the 17-year-old underwent to secure the role.
“He devoted himself to that transformation for a year,” Nikki recalled. “But it’s not even about how he looks—although he is gorgeous and sexy and shirtless for most of the film. He’s just so, so good as Jacob. And he can handle the pressure." Kellan couldn't agree more: “There was a concern about Taylor, as Jacob is bigger and stronger in the second book. But he hit the gym and gained 30 pounds of muscle. He looks amazing.” Coming from beefy Kellan, that's quite the compliment indeed.
One actress producers did decide to replace was Rachelle Lefevre, who plays vamp Victoria. In a move deemed controversial by many Twilighters, Bryce Dallas Howard was cast in the part for the Saga's third film "Eclipse." Nikki says Bryce is flourishing in her new role. “Bryce is handling it like a champion,” she said. “She’s beautiful, talented, and a wonderful addition.”

Is Rob Destined To Be People's 2009 Sexiest Man Alive?

Who Is People's Sexiest Man Alive 2009?

Does Pattinson have it locked up? Maybe not.

More Info Nov 05, 2009 We're likely about two weeks away from learning the identity of the Sexiest Man Alive, as chosen by People magazine. Given that there are fairly strict (if unwritten) criteria for being awarded this honor -- SMAs of recent years have typically been film actors between 30 and 45 -- it's usually easy to guess at who the next winner may be. Here are 10 contenders, a few of whom are outside the usual template for Sexiest Men Alive. For starters, the leading contender is a mere lad of 23.
Annie Wersching
Robert Pattinson: He has to be considered the heavy favorite, to the point where I would be surprised if it is anyone else. For starters, the Twilight sequel New Moon will be premiering right around the time that the SMA issue comes out, providing a natural tie-in. And judging from how often Pattinson and his co-stars appear in the gossip media even without a film to promote, giving him the honor would be a license to print money. The only thing working against Pattinson is his age. The Sexiest Man Alive is typically not someone who could be described as "boyish." The honor has never been bestowed on someone who arguably needs to shave just once a month. Odds: Even money.

Brad Pitt: This isn't like being Miss America -- even after you've won Sexiest Man Alive, you're allowed to win it again, and Pitt is one of the few who has accomplished this feat. He has to be on any list of possible winners because, let's face it, he's Brad Freakin' Pitt. But there are two big arguments against him. One, there has never been a three-time winner. Two, there's that goatee he's been sporting of late, which has him looking more like an Allman Brother than someone gearing up to make an acceptance speech at the People offices. Odds: 8 to 1.
Neil Patrick Harris: He has had the kind of career year (even if he didn't get that Emmy) that could nicely be capped off by winning Sexiest Man Alive. Of course, the elephant in the room is Harris's sexual orientation. There's never been a gay winner of the SMA, at least not one who was out, and this is certainly no coincidence. Just like the annual People list of sexiest bachelors, which usually has only a token gay man or two in it even though the percentage of unmarried men who are gay is certainly quite high, there's an undeniable fantasy element to the naming of the Sexiest Man Alive. There may come a day when People will give the honor to someone that its female readers can't imagine sleeping with, but I doubt that day will be in 2009. Odds: 20 to 1
Robert Downey Jr.: He has some of the same factors going for him that Harris does: he's never won before; he's the right age, broadly speaking (44); he has a big project to promote over the coming weeks (Sherlock Holmes); and he's never been hotter than he is right now. However, most of the Sexiest Men Alive have a background in romantic comedies or action films, neither of which are Downey's forte (despite the Iron Man franchise). Quirkier actors have won before, but they have been men like Jude Law and Johnny DeppOdds: 10 to 1. who are more conventionally gorgeous than Downey. He's an intriguing longshot.
Colin Firth: He's considered a thinking woman's sex symbol by many, probably because he has the British accent and had his breakthrough role in Pride and Prejudice. This is shaping up as a big few months for Firth, given his supporting role in the will-probably-be-a-hit A Christmas Carol and his starring turn in A Single Man, which should land him on Oscar short lists. The big questions about Firth are his age (49) and whether he's really famous enough for People to even put him on its cover at all, let alone as the SMA. Odds: 30 to 1.
Mark Harmon: Naming Harmon would be a good way for People to tie into what is currently the top-rated show on television, NCIS. It would also be a shoutout to People's own history, since Harmon was Sexiest Man Alive way back in 1986, when he was dark-haired and starring on St. Elsewhere. But while being 58 probably doesn't completely disqualify him -- there has been one winner, Sean Connery, who was even older -- it's not really a point in his favor either. Odds: 50 to
Jake Gyllenhaal: He's been kind of quiet lately, but he does have a role in next year's Prince of Persia in which he will be showing off quite a physique. Plus, his current status as boyfriend to Reese Witherspoon, who is the sort of nice person People readers admire even if they would rather read about the disaster areas, makes him something of a role model. Gyllenhaal fits the general profile of a future Sexiest Man Alive, but like Matthew McConaugheyMatt Damon ten years ago, he probably needs more seasoning. Odds: 25 to 1. or
Leonardo DiCaprio: How is it possible that this dude has never won SMA, given his idol status and his unending string of prestige projects? Bottom line is that he was probably too young and apple-cheeked to win at the time of Titanic (just as Pattinson may be today); and since then, DiCaprio, like Downey, has mostly pursued roles that don't play up sex appeal. He's also not a particular friend of celebrity journalism, which would make doing a cover story on him somewhat difficult. But a list of Sexiest Men Alive that doesn't include DiCaprio is an incomplete cultural history of the last 15 years. It would be as if Lindsay Lohan had never won Trainwreck of the Year. Odds: 5 to 1.
John Mayer:GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK. I'm mentioning him because 1) he's considered to be an attractive man; and 2) the scope of his little black book attests to the fact that an awful lot of famous women have personally found him quite sexy. He's also promoting a new album. However, there's never been a Sexiest Man Alive who was a musician (we'll ignore Pierce Brosnan singing in Mamma Mia!), so I doubt the first will be Mayer. Besides, who really wants to hear Kanye West shouting "I'm really happy for you John, but Usher was one of the sexiest men of all time!" Odds: 1000 to 1.
Barack Obama: Wait, hear me out. We know that People is not averse to putting this President on its cover. Naming him the SMA would get them more publicity than almost anything else you could think of. The downsides are that the magazine would surely get a flurry of subscription cancellations from those who believe Obama has already received too much attention from People, and from those who supported Glenn Beck's candidacy. Bottom line is that the Nobel Peace Prize/Sexiest Man Alive combo is a difficult one to pull off; the only person to ever win both in the same year is Bishop Desmond Tutu*. Odds: 40 to 1.

New Cannes Interview - TheStar.com

Twilight's Robert Pattinson: Undead sexy
With the Twilight sequel just a few moons away, its tousled star dishes on over-the-top fandom, muddled morals, and how not to act like a vampire

CANNES, France–There are no crystal decanters of blood for Robert Pattinson to sip from, or milky white virgin necks to nibble upon.

Pattinson's treats, arrayed before him on a glass table shaped like a kneeling Greek goddess, aren't your typical vampire fare: a bowl of potato chips, packages of green apple mint gum and a box of See's chocolates imported from the U.S.

The world's sexiest undead man eschews all the caloric temptations, apologizing as he nips off to another room for a few drags on a Camel Lights cigarette before commencing this interview.

"I'm sorry!" he says, pausing only to shake hands. "I'll be right back!"

Pattinson returns a few minutes later, flashing a smile filled with extraordinarily white teeth. Despite the 28C heat on this sunny day at the Cannes Film Festival, he's wearing two shirts (a short-sleeved one over a T-shirt) and cotton jeans with holes in the knees.

The London-born actor's heavily moussed hair, as always, looks like it has been styled by the fingers of ravaging fans of the Twilight books and films that have made him into a teen scream sensation.

"It's completely nuts," Pattinson, 23, says of his sudden global acclaim. "I had lunch in some restaurant the other day down the street and if you're in a place for more than an hour, word gets out. There were like 500 or 600 people outside, watching and waiting for me."

He is animated and engaging while speaking, quite unlike the pale and brooding vampire Edward Cullen he plays in Twilight, a 2008 hit, and its sequel New Moon, which arrives in theatres Nov. 20.

Which means he had to act the role, of course, and in Pattinson's case he used the approach of a method actor, trying to move the way a vampire does. The feat was complicated by the desire of director Catherine Hardwicke, the film's producers and Twilight novelist Stephenie Meyer that Pattinson not act like the typical neck-biting bloodsucker.

"They kept saying they wanted to reinvent the genre of the vampire film, so I was really just trying to figure out how to play a vampire not as a vampire," Pattinson says, running a hand through his brown locks. "I looked at a lot of movement in samurai films, because of the stillness. None of which I particularly used. It just sort of felt Zen."

He finally determined that the key to understanding Edward was aloneness.

"I spent a lot of time by myself. I tried not to talk to too many people. My initial instinct was not to talk to anybody at all, so my first line would be like the first time I had spoken in a month, so you could get that kind of weird dialect. But it's quite tough to do that!" he laughs.

Tougher still is living up to expectations of what Twilight fans expect of Pattinson and his co-star Kristin Stewart, who plays Bella, the all-too-human love of the immortal and undead Edward.

So far, fans have given the actors an enthusiastic thumbs up, to the point of fantasizing them as a couple in real life, something that both Pattinson and Stewart have denied, albeit not terribly convincingly, with "we're just friends" shrugs.

(The flames of Pattinson's and Stewart's supposed hot love were fanned all this past summer by tabloid reports while the duo were in Vancouver filming Eclipse, the third film in the Twilight franchise, due out in 2010. The tabs had the couple married off and even expecting a baby, although Pattinson knocks the rumours in a cover story in the December issue of Vanity Fair, which has just been released.)

New Moon might throw people for a loop, especially the ones who haven't read the book. There's trouble in paradise in this one, with another claimant to Bella's cuddles and Edward suddenly seeming not so invincible. The film also has to work around the logistical problem of Edward being more in Bella's mind than in her eyes at this stage of the uncoventional love saga.

For his part, Pattinson is completely confident that New Moon will be another huge success.

"I don't know why anyone would be worried about people going to see it, because they will go and see it, I think. It sticks relatively closely to the book; it's just that in the book it's just Edward's voice in Bella's head and that's really Edward's only presence. I think it would just be cheesy if you had that (in the film), and it would be really difficult for Kristen to play, if it was just a voice.

"My presence in it is very faint. I'm a hallucination."

There is, however, a fight scene created for the movie in which Pattinson is not the least bit ghostly. We're not talking about a lover's spat here. It's a battle to the finish with an outside threat.

"The fight scene was actually really fun. It's the only fight scene I've ever done in which I actually look like I'm quite good at fighting in it! I'm quite happy with that."

The Twilight saga is freighted with the expectations of parents and other moral authorities who have praised the series for promoting chastity. Pattinson chuckles at this, because he thinks the Twilight story is actually quite sexy – although it's much more of the mind than the body, since Edward has to sheath his pointy teeth (and other extremities) to protect his beloved Bella.

People are choosing to read into the series whatever they want, and that's fine with Pattinson, although he personally finds the sexual tension very erotic – as do most fans.

"I think it's hilarious that everyone, especially parents, are saying it's about abstinence and they're really pleased their kids are reading it. And yet so many people who are reading the books are thinking, `I want them to have sex! I want them to make me want to have sex!'

"And if you read any fan fiction, all of it is about Edward and Bella having sex in the same scenarios instead of stopping. It's quite amusing."

Pattinson's sense of humour has stood him in good stead over his whirlwind of a year. Prior to 2008, he was best known as Cedric Diggory, a minor character in two Harry Potter films. Cedric is a hunky jock at Hogwarts School, who naturally gets all the girls and vexes nerdy Harry, but he's not all bad.

It was while playing Cedric that Pattinson got his first taste of insane fame. It was during a day of filming Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at Oxford University, when the Potter gang ran smack-dab into a group of teenaged girls from France, who were on a school trip.

"We ended up coming out of our cars at exactly the same moment and being surrounded in this crowd. And nobody even knew whom I was playing at that point. When I said Cedric, it was, `Omigod! Cedric!' Whatever."

Pattinson was alarmed at first by all the attention – he considers himself shy and retiring – but he's smart enough to know that it won't last forever, and that it doesn't necessarily extend beyond his link with Twilight and Edward Cullen.

His other two films of the past year, Little Ashes and How to Be, failed to make an impact at the box office, despite demonstrating his impressive range as an actor. In the drama Little Ashes, he plays Spanish surrealist Salvador Dali, right down to the twisty moustache and homoerotic encounters. In the comedy How to Be, he's a depressed British singer/songwriter (Pattinson is a musician, too) who hires a Canadian self-help guru to put his life back in order.

Pattinson has been making films only since 2004, when he had a bit part in Mira Nair's Vanity Fair, so everything about being a movie star is still fresh and not so terrible, all things considered.

"It's just this fame thing," he muses. "It's just something you have to learn how to deal with. It's strange. It's definitely so new, I don't really know how I'm going to react to it in the long run.

"I was fighting against it for quite a while, and just recently I realized there's nothing you can do; you can't just turn your back on it. Now I can pretty much go anywhere in the world and within minutes of being in a restaurant, tons of people come up to you. So you might as well just learn to have acceptance."

Spoken like a true Zen vampire

Rob in Jeune & Jolie Magazine

Within a week (right after Twilight came out), Robert Pattinson became a star who attracted hordes of fans everywhere he went. In person, wearing a discrete black & white stripped polo shirt, the actor is as charismatic as Edward Cullen, the vampire who stole Bella Swan’s heart (Kristen Stewart). Ending each response with a heartfelt laugh, Rob Pattz keeps running his hands through his messy hair, which contributed to his legend. Exclusive interview with the star for the release of New Moon on November 18th.

We tend to forget today the fact that fans were very hard on you when the casting of Twilight was announced.

Yes, that’s why I didn’t want to play Edward at the beginning. I felt that no one could be up to the standards of the role for the fans. I had no clue what Twilight was before going to the audition. I didn’t know if they were going to take me, but I really liked Kristen Stewart in “Into the Wild”, so I told myself “Why not try it out”, and I got the role… It’s only when we started filming that I started to realize how popular the novels were and I started to panic (laughs).

And now girls scream when you pass by them

Two year ago, I really had to work hard to get girls interested in me. I still look the same today and it’s funny to see how much the situation has changed. I only needed Stephenie Meyer, the author of the book, to say that I was beautiful and everyone believed her.

Your performance in Twilight finally pleased everyone

I’m the type of person that doesn’t know how to receive compliments. If people say I did good, I’ll answer “Yeah, yeah, great.” And if you say I was bad, I’ll agree with you and then detest you (laughs).

How do you react to the hysteria that surrounds you every time you go out?

Crowds are a challenge for me… I like Twilight and everyone involved, but I didn’t sign on for this, to hear people scream my name each time I step out the door. I had to adapt my life accordingly. It’s even more difficult since I’m a very private person to start off. I’ve been doing this line of work for a few years and I’m starting to forget what my life was before Twilight. Because of the internet and Twitter as soon as someone spots me somewhere the information spreads at a crazy speed. And the fans being… fanatic, a crowd forms quickly in front of the place where I am. If I’ve learned something recently it’s to never stay more than 20 minutes in the same place (laughs).

Even at the Cannes Festival back in May it was crazy

It was a real surprise for me, I thought the phenomenon was limited to America. Clearly I was wrong.

You should borrow the invisibility cloak from your old friends in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

I don’t know how they do it, but they’re hardly anywhere. I’ve never seen Daniel Radcliffe in tabloids. Maybe he doesn’t go out?

Having done both how do you compare the frenzy created by Twilight and Harry Potter?

The Harry Potter fans are attached to the universe, to the characters, but they don’t want to sleep with them. That’s the main difference (laughs).

Your fans see you as the ideal guy, like your character. Do you feel obligated, in a way, to be to up to the standards they set out for you?

I don’t really know… No. I might succeed if I stopped talking or doing anything. It would be the only way to create that illusion. How do you want to equal someone like Edward Cullen? I will never be the perfect man. I wouldn’t even know where to start.

Have you ever been a fan of someone else?

Believe me, I would have loved to be a fan, screaming in the middle of a crowd that shares my passion. It’s a great feeling, I would love to feel that collective adrenaline rush. Sometimes I tell myself that people just want to get together to scream, let go, and don’t really care about who’s in front of them. A crowd is the only place where you can scream without being embarrassed. I’d love to be able to do that, but I haven’t found my idol yet.

How did the filming of New Moon go?

Very well. The two months of filming went by extremely fast. The atmosphere was much more relaxed than for Twilight. I think that everyone knew exactly what they had to do. We’re starting to have a good idea of what our public expects of us. I’m certain that New Moon will be better than Twilight, and will please guys alot more. During the promotion of Twilight, I remember being told to say that there was alot of action in the movie, to play up the fact that guys were going to love it, “Guys never like that, I would answer, it’s a girl movie!” I don’t know if it’s because a man (Chris Weitz) produced New Moon, but I really have the impression that the movie is more masculine. More and more guys are asking me for my autograph.

Guys like Twilight?

Yes. That being said maybe they only ask me for my autograph to sell it on Ebay after.

Did any scene cause you problems during the filming of New Moon?

I show up bear chested at the end of the movie, which makes me quite uncomfortable. I’m becoming a feminist (laughs). You can’t see people as objects! I never had to do that for another role, it was really embarrassing. Especially compared to Taylor Lautner (who plays Jacob, his rival to win Bella’s heart) that was training like crazy and now has fourteen abs.

Do you think you’d get along with Edward Cullen if he really existed?

I don’t know. I appreciate Edward as a person – he’s too prude for my taste, but I like playing him. He’s a guy with honour in any case.

Rob & Kristen make People Magazine´ Top 25 Celebrity Hotlist

People Magazine has named their Top 25 Hotlist and the Twi-Trinity has made the list!

#1 Kristen Stewart

#2 Rob Pattinson

Here´s the article:
They're the biggest trio of faces in film-based pop culture since Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, and they're all extremely lovely in their own way. They're also the leading cast mates of one of the most heavily involved film franchises in the world right now, and everybody knows who they are - everybody. They're Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, and according to their recent listing on People Magazine's "Top 25 Celebrity Hotlist," they're some of "[t]he most buzzed about stars this minute."
Number one on the list was the one and only Kristen Stewart, followed by the sought-after Mr. Pattinson in second place. Lautner finished at a clean eleventh, but with the competitively buzzing stars put on this list, that positioning is still a testament to his drawing power.
Other stars on the list included Kanye West and Taylor Swift. Though Swift might've made the list all her own anyway for her endearing and sweet vocal talents, West probably made the list as a result of his Video Music Awards blunder a few weeks ago. Also on the list were Fergie and her husband Josh Duhamel (no comment necessary, really, just Google the couple and you'll know their "buzz"). Rihanna, Brad Pitt, Kim Kardashian, and many, many more also join ranks in the top twenty-five, and the full list is available here
